Second Grade Tackle Caldecott Challenge

Second Graders learn the criteria for the Caldecott Award.  They were challenged to read five Caldecott books over the course of January and submit a reading log.  There will be one winner from each homeroom.  The winners will receive a Caldecott book to keep.  We will be reading and evaluating potential 2015 Caldecott winners during library class.  Here is our first book:

Cast your vote on the 2015 Caldecott Award winner.

These are the winners of  our Caldecott Reading Challenge.  2nd graders were encouraged to read five Caldecott winners and record their books on a log.  We drew one winner from each class and those students won a copy of the 2015 Caldecott Winner- The Adventures of BEEKLE.  Congrats!
