Diversity in Preschool and Kindergarten

I see Preschool and Kindergarten one time each week for a 20 minute class.  There are three kindergarten sessions and three preschool sessions.  With only 20 minutes we typically read a story, do a quick activity, and then check out books.  We recently read I'm Gonna Like Me:  Letting Off a Little Self-Esteem by Jamie Lee Curtis and then we celebrated our differences.  I polled the classes on their differences and then tallied all our results up on a poster for them to view.  Take a look.  The kids enjoyed seeing all the little people cut-out to represent them.  Highest totals:  57 with Brown hair, 59 with Blue eyes, 77 said they were LOUD!
